Clyde and Zeke seem to be a newer incarnation of Stanley and Homer. (Perhaps renamed since
Stanley had turned into a western character and teamed up with Spunky?) A 1948 letter from
editor at Standard turned down a Clyde and Zeke story. Maybe this was never published.
This inked but uncolored story is in
particularly good shape, and is a great example of Jack's work! |
