Message: The publisher would mail him the stories, with very rough layout sketches for each page. He would then do the pencil drawings on oversize stiff paper, which he'd then mail in for approval. They would mail the drawings back, he would make any changes, then ink them and clean them up, and mail back to the publisher. The color was added by others. Replies to this post No replies yet |
